I am in a dispute with a cellular carrier. There are many complex issues, but one simple one has me stumped. As part of this, I took a credit card chargeback, but then rescinded it. I have a letter from my bank verifying the return, but the company will not acknowledge it, saying their bank did not tell them. In the meantime they have put the charge to collection. I have sent the bank letter to the collection agency. I have been to better business bureau, but that led nowhere.
JA: What state is this in? And when did the issue begin?
Customer: New York. The issue started in Sept 2016 and went to collection in April
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: There is communication between the company and me, as well as the better busines bureau. They sent to a Collection agency. Nothing beyond that
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: The company has sent me false charges based on a phone number that I have with another provider and I have their message saying they tried 3 times to activate a sim card, but still charged me.
