I have represented nurses in actions against hospitals and nursing facilities on many occasions, and my wife is a nurse, so I understand how the health care employment situation is.
While nothing is ever impossible, it would be exceedingly rare for a nurse to lose their state nursing license based on a simply an assault charge which occurs outside of work. However, if the assault results in death, that would be a reason to lose one's license.
