I have rented a TH for 2 yrs. Every rent payment on time.

Customer Question

I have rented a TH for 2 yrs. Every rent payment on time.
Recently I notified the owners I would be leaving due to the owners anger issues (which I reported to the local police).
Since then (early Apr), there was an agreement re times and days for viewing. There has been only 1 possible tenant that has viewed the home. However, every wk the owners bring in someone- "contractors" and recently they have incorporated a local neighbor to spy on us.
Yesterday I was told I had a cat. Do not.
Other things as well re their trying to keep the retainer fee like telling my son he parked on the grass- also not true. I took pics and there are no indentations in lawn or lawn damages.
I have been an excellent tenant. Even th owners wife once told my son we have been their best tenants.
This man was left into our home every mo for over a yr to "change the heat filter" (which he said was always clean) until I read up on the hoax system and notified him the filter does not require monthly changes.
Our lease is up June 1 and he has no prospects. Just looking to keep my retainer.
What do I need to know or do?

Good morning. Just to be clear, you are staying until the end of the lease and then vacating? When you say retainer, you mean your security deposit?
