Customer Question

I informed a customer of mine that a fellow employee of mine had a sexual conduct conviction and now the company I work is now going to terminate me it is public knowledge on the sexual charge. Fair?
JA: Because employment law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Michigan
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: By me, no. The conviction information is online.
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: I do not think so. Thanks

Thank you for the information and your question. Can you tell me if you are in a union? Also, what specifically has your company told you the reason was for your termination? I mean by that, like "unprofessional," "damaging to the business," "violation of Company police" or what?
