I just received separation papers from my husband he's ppd disabled veteran. What grounds do I have I was told if I divorce I would lose all my benefit I haven't done anything to my husband this doesn't seem fair to me

I am sorry to hear about this. Many times in a separation/divorce one spouse does not want to lose their spouse, but legally the court will not force people to stay married if one person wants out of the marriage. It is not fair to the spouse who does not want the separation or divorce, but it is legal I am afraid, so you are going to need to fight for your equitable share of all of the marital assets to protect your rights.
