I have a small business that is 19 months into a 10 year

Customer Question

I have a small business that is 19 months into a 10 year lease. The owner of the building defaulted and the new owners want to sell. They, a law office, are telling me that they are going to require me to sign a new lease at a much higher rent. I can't afford any increase. What are my rights and options?
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me what state the property is in?
Customer: Idaho
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: No, they just sent an e-mail stating they have a buyer who requires this
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: No Thanks
