Good morning. I am Loren, a licensed attorney, and I look forward to assisting you.
Mailing prescriptions, including antibiotics, is only allowed by entities that are registered with the DEA. That's why you can order a prescription and have it arrive in the mail. Also, you can send a prescription if either you or the receiver are exempt from DEA registration. An example would be some active military, civil defense, or law enforcement. Sending your prescription back to the manufacturer for a recall, or other dispensing error is also permitted.
