I was attending a for profit school to become a Medical

Customer Question

I was attending a for profit school to become a Medical Assistant and was to graduate in Feb. The school closed down with no warning. I have been paying them monthly what I agreed to pay. What are my options?
JA: Because education law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Florida
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: The school has let the State know I think, it was on the news
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: We are having a hard time finding a school that will accept our transcript

If they have filed bankruptcy then you will have a tough time being able to file a lawsuit against them. You can possibly file suit against the founders behind the school who created it.
