Good morning. Yes. A doctor who is named in or part of a lawsuit can be deposed in the action. If the doctor refuses, then the court can issue an order compelling testimony at a deposition. If they are a witness or part of a company/ hospital the same rules apply and they can be forced to testify at the deposition by the court.
