Is there a charge for this service? What is "the rest"?

Customer Question

Is there a charge for this service?
JA: You just pay a $5 deposit now and the rest only when you get a reply from the Lawyer. All of this is 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so you can get a refund if you're not happy for any reason.
Customer: What is "the rest"?
JA: What state are you in? It matters because laws vary by location.
Customer: Illinois
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: Just a question about a modification to an existing order.
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: The question would be this: If I seek a modification of visitation schedule does the entire custody order have to be redone in order to meet new statutes?

Yes, typically they will review the entire document to be sure it is compliant with present law.

however, my recollection of the Illinois law changes said that they apply to orders issued after a certain date. The judge will usually only address the issues being sought in the motion.
