Customer Question

I got a citation/court summons, tomorrow, for egging a house. The citation is $376. On the paper I got mailed it describes my physical features, height, weight, hair and eye color. All of the 4 are incorrect, I'm 200lbs vs the 170 it says I am, I am 4 uncles taller than the citation, then it says my hair and eye color are brown, I'm a blonde with green eyes. Can I use this in court somehow to get the citation reduced or dropped?

Yes. The fact that they (and I'm assuming this was an officer) described you in error will not get the case dismissed, but it is powerful evidence that the officer's (or someone else's) observations were flawed and you are not guilty.

You may absolutely use this in court.

I hope this helps.

WI'll it still have any impact if I admitted guilt in a police statement?

Probably not. If you admitted you did it, then the fact that they got your physical descriptors wrong is pretty much irrelevant.

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but I hope it helps.
