Had hip replaced in Dec. Bc/bs. changed to land of Lincoln in jan. Is land of Lincoln obligated to pay for therapy in Jan. Or is it still bc/bs responsbility?

Your current insurer is liable to pay the new bills. If the hip was replaced under BC/BS, then BC/BS pays that part, but if your insurer changed January 1, the new insurer pays for bills from that date forward unless there is some clause in your new policy about pre-existing conditions and then they would not have to pay for the therapy for 12 months and if BC/BS was canceled you could be without insurance for that condition for 12 months under IL law and HIPAA.
