My mother died in March. Her house was part of the estate,

Customer Question

My mother died in March. Her house was part of the estate, and the personal representative signed a one year contract with a realtor. The house was taken out of the estate yesterday by the probate judge because it did not sell within the 90 day creditor period. The house is now in the name of all the beneficiaries and no longer considered part of the estate. The realtor is now claiming that either the heirs or the estate owe him for his expenses. We did not sign the contract with him,and do not feel as if we owe him anything. Do we or the estate owe him any money?
