Customer Question

Okay so I was sexting a guy who was in his twenties when i was at the age of 17 and now I'm 18. When I was sexting him i told him i was 20. And didn't tell him i was 17 till after i was 18. My parents might file a claim on the sexting but they have no proof. Can this lead to him being in prison even tho i lied to him

Ignorance is not viewed as an excuse for something like this, but I suspect the judge would be somewhat lenient since it was only sexting and no physical contact took place.
