A blogger site asked candidates questions and then follow up questions. I'm a candidate and didn't participate. I object to the site. But people want to hear my answers to questions. Can I put just answers on my webpage . If I don't use his questions (people will figure out the question) then am I avoiding copyright issues?

Since they are your answers, then there really is no issue. Also since he has most probably not copyrighted his questions, I do not believe he would have a strong basis to make a legal claim. This is not to say he won't try to threaten but in court he would not likely prevail.
