Customer Question

My friend was waiting on a large work comp settlement to come in and he wanted to buy my house that I had at the time on sec 8. I agreed to rent him my house at five dollars above mortage payment because he promised to pay on the first of every month until his comp case settled and then he was going to buy the house for 110000 dollars in full, well he never paid on time destroyed my credit and once comp case settled he only had 46000 to pay toward house. So I took the 46000 with an understanding that he was to pay 20000 more with in 30 days and the rest by jan10 2016, which its now June 10 2016 and he has not gave me a dime since the 46000.

I'm Lucy, and I'd be happy to answer your questions today. I'm sorry to hear that this happened.

Did you ever put the agreement that he would buy the house in writing? Or the agreement that he'd pay $20,000 more? Do you have any emails or texts that show the arrangement? Is the title to the house still in your name?
