My Lawyer is holding half of my settlement that I waited

Customer Question

My Lawyer is holding half of my settlement that I waited 15yrs for. He took his 33/1/3, its been 8 months and he keep telling me that he's waiting for medicare to let him know if I owe them. My daughter was with me in October when I finally received my lawsuit from 2001, half of it, he told us that I didn't owe anything and I will receive the other have soon.. I spoke to medicare because I had to let them know about the lawsuit, I gave all information needed, so medicare know about the lawsuit, if my lawyer didn't here from them in 8 months why is he still holding my money, I need it. I only received 1/2 of my settlement, I waited 15yrs and accumulated a lot of depths, I payed out what he's holding to my family for helping me which I appreciate. Please help me! Thank You
