This pertains to a life insurance policy through Globe/First american that was denied
My mother took out a 30000 policy with globe/******************* Life
Insurance Company November 11,2013 (which according to the correspondence was the day the application was taken and money was Paid for the first months premium ,
She answered the questions on the application and over the phone ,and that was it.She then continued to pay on the policy for the next 2 years,which by the way , we never received an ACTUAL policy, but a certificate stating the policy # ***** amount , Insured ,Ect Effectie date..
The policy ,according to the insurance
co records was effective November 19,2013.Mom passed away on November
15,2015. (Just 3 Days shy of the 2 year Mark. Upon her death, I immediately contacted the insurance co and they got the claim started. I submitted all the requested info, and just today I get a
denial letter with a refund check for the 2 years premium. Their reason:
inaccurate answers to questions 2a , 2b and 3 on their application.They
enclosed a digital application without any signature .How can you help
me get this claim paid?

What were questions 2a, 2b and 3? Do you know what her answers were? Do you know if anyone from the insurer or broker told her the policy was in force from the date she paid the first premium?
