I had to take a drug test for a medication that I have a scrip for. But have not been taking. what's going to happen?

Generally drug tests are given to check for illicit drugs and not for those which are lawfully prescribed. So if there are no drugs in your system, generally nothing is going to happen to you.

But to be sure I understand what is going on here, who is going to be testing you and why? In what US state? Are you under court mandate?
