Customer Question

A lawyer is attempting to collect on a balance of fees. I have already paid him thousands of dollars. He lost every court action he was involved in. Along with failing to Subpoena witnesses that did not want to testify for my case. Also he failed to fully inform me about the ramifications of a decision I made causing me to lose my business, income, home, cars etc. What can I do to stop his collection threats.

Good afternoon. I certainly understand the situation and your concern. Was there anything in the retainer agreement that said the requirement to pay was contingent on the outcome of the case? Was this case taken on a contingency basis?
