This is not an answer, but an information request. I need this information to answer your question. Please reply, so I can answer your question. Thank you in advance.
I am in the state of Missouri and would not be breaching contract. As a priest I want remain in good standing with the Church and am wondering what resigning would do. It is my understanding that it is usually best to not resign because I would lose any canonical rights I have as pastor.
Thank you for your reply. What Church are you affiliated with, please? Also, did the Church place you into that position, or, did you find it on your own?
I am Catholic. Are you a Catholic canon lawyer?
There are very few attorneys that focus specifically on lus canonicum. So no, this is not my only area of expertise. But I know it.
Did you wish to proceed?
No thank you. I would prefer to find someone who specializes in canon law. Thank you for your time.
