Customer Question

In Mighigan, if an apartment advertises a lower rent than they actually offer, while still refusing to change the ad, are they legally obligated to lease at their advertised price?

That is false advertising. The landlord is engaged in deceptive business practices and you would have an action against the landlord. Do you have anything in writing that shows the same apartment in the ad is in fact more money? Is the landlord giving any reason for the difference in rent?
