Customer Question

When my girlfriend moved out last September she embezzled a car that was in my name and said she would lie about child abuse if I didn't sign over the car to her. The registration is now due and I don't know what to do. I know if she lies the burden of proof is on me since I have a friend who just went through this and even though it was conjured up it still is on his record now. I don't want that to happen to me. If I register it as non-op, and she is still driving it I could be fined or worse, what should I do?

Thank you for your question. Please permit me to assist you with your concerns.

If I may ask, did you register the car over to her, or no?
