Tcf bank gave my father "vunlerable adult" a line of credit

Customer Question

tcf bank gave my father "vunlerable adult" a line of credit for his home mortage 14 years ago. He has not paid one dime towards principle- all has gone towards interest - he actually owes more today - is there anything legally that can be done? I just feel that this is soooo very wrong.

Did the bank know or have any information that he was mentally incompetent? Is he mentally incompetent? Has he been declared by the court to be mentally incompetent by the court?
