Our condo association has a rule: You are not allowed to post signs on your property.
I am a 78 year old woman living alone on the first floor. I posted a sign inside my patio
window door for security purposes. "DOG ON PREMISES" Dogs are not allowed in any condo. I was told I had to remove the sign or I would receive a fine. I feel this situation is not being justly evaluated because they allow commercial security signs to be posted inside the condos as well as outside

Thank you for using JustAnswer. I am Loren, an Illinois licensed attorney, and I will do whatever I can to answer your question and provide excellent service.
Before I answer a bit more detail would be helpful please.
Do any other unit owners have signs? Is the prohibition on signs limited to a certain area or other thing, such as permanent?
Is the sign in a window or outside?
Thank you.
