Customer Question

My wife is dying of cancer. She recently had consolidated her two credit card bills and took out a loan from the bank to get interest rate down. My question is am I responsible for this debt even though I never was a part of her credit card billings nor did I sign for her personal note? I live in the State of Alaska.

Thank you for using JustAnswer. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Just to be clear, you didn't opt into the community property system in Alaska?
