Customer Question

My husband is his brothers legal guardian. The reason why was because he was drunk, had beaten his gf and ran from police jumping off his 3rd story balcony. He sustained a traumatic brain injury along with breaking his back. He is hiigh functioning but the damage in his frontal lobe affects his executive functions. Memory esp any thing new is a hit an miss. Past memories and auch are ok but we see aome issues there as well. He joined a dating site and supposedly met some one and wants to go out with this stranger. What are our legal resposibiiities. About disclosing his violent behavoirs ( he has a history but never been convicted, however had the state of VA had their way after this happened he woudl of been serving 5 years plus.
The brain injury kept him out of the hands of the law. He lives in vegas with us. He is on meds that help with his emotions he does try to drink and he not allowed ro as it can cause more medical issues as well as outburts.

Just to clarify your husband has guardianship for his brother and you want to know what you would be required to disclose to a potential date?

Your husband should have signed “Acknowledgment of Duties and Responsibilities Under NRS 159.”
