Is there any legal consultant with the name Barrister John O.

In what context did you come to have contact with this person?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

A boyfriend i met on a datingsite give the lawyer my address because he was putted in yail. And the lawyer asked for bailmoney, and got it and then i didnt hear anymore

Thanks for the additional information.

Unfortunately, this is a common scam that occurs on the Internet. A "barrister" will tell someone that their friend/loved one is in jail and needs bail money and the person will send it via Western Union or some other money transfer service and it turns out to be a scam. Just Googling "bail money scam" turns up hundreds of stories about people to whom this has happened. You can file a police report but unfortunately in situations like this, the money and the person who conducted the scam are virtually untraceable.
