I have a question concerning Oregon Law USA.
A European company representing a USA company Distributing their products in Europe. Only represent this one company. Now they terminate the contract after 12 years and gave Distribution to a competitor. Du we have any right to compensation for closing down our business?

Whether or not the Oregon company had the right to cancel the contract with the European company would depend solely on the terms of the contract between. Oregon state law (or the law of any state for that matter) would not grant any special rights to the European company simply because it had a contract with the Oregon company for 12 years. Parties are generally free to contract with whomever they wish regardless of how long they have been doing business together so long as that in doing so it does not violate an existing contract.

You would need to check the terms of the contract and see what it says about terminating the contract. If the Oregon company breached any terms with respect to whether or not the contract was terminated properly or prematurely, then the European company would have a cause of action for breach of contract for which they would have to bring a civil lawsuit against the Oregon company for damages.
