Im selling a boat that was vested with me during my divorce. My ex wife is listed on the tag receipt. when I make out the bill of sale do I have to include her name on the bill of sale or can I put just my name as the person selling the boat. It is listed as john doe and mary doe, what do I need to do?
Hello and welcome to JustAnswer

I'm sorry to hear about your situation and hope I can help.

My goal is to provide you with excellent service today

Since you are now the only owner of the boat, you do not need to include your ex-wife's name on the bill of sale, and can just put your name down as the one who is selling the boat, since you are the sole owner.

I hope the above information is helpful.

Please let me know if you have any follow up or clarifying questions as I want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with my service.

If not, please remember to rate my answer positively so I get paid for my work.

Thanks and best of luck!
