If a creditor is trying to sue my dad for his and ex-wifes

Customer Question

If a creditor is trying to sue my dad for his and ex-wife's debt, and have tried to serve him but has seen he has had an aneurysm and double stroke can they then legally come after me because I am his caretaker by being his daughter and serve me with a law suit that they have told my daughter they are trying to serve me now with. I did not have anything to do with any of those bills. What should I do and how would I handle it?

Hello and thank you for using JA! My goal is to provide you with excellent service and help with your legal problem.
Have you been formally named as guardian for father by the courts?
Do you have any connection with their debts other than it just being your dad?
