Can you serve a summons and complaint or a supboena in Pennsylvania on Sunday

Yes. Pennsylvania Rules for service of process can be found in the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure Chapter 400. And nothing within these provisions prohibit the service of legal papers on a Sunday.

Thank you, I was sure you can and we always have served on Sunday if was necessary. The question asked by a process server in Texas whom I am serving papers for today. He was concerned because Texas is forbidden. Have great weekend what's left of it.
