A petitioner can file a motion to terminate a restraining order at the Clerk of Court's Office. A hearing will be scheduled and the judge will likely want to review the matter to determine whether or not there is any coercion taking place and to make sure that terminating the restraining order will not endanger the protected individual. The judge can then terminate the restraining order. The Clerk of Court's Office should have forms available for that purpose.
