Thank you. These are the details; On 03/26/2020 a Judgment
On 03/26/2020 a Judgment was Issued by 14th Appeals court in TX on quiet title cause. The judgement was on my favor. The Appellant has files a Motion for extension of time to file motion for rehearing and was GRANTED. I would like to file an appellee's motion to dismiss request for rehearing AND to dismiss the appeal as moot. A motion to dismiss the appeal as moot was submitted to the court on 01/02/2020, however, it was found to have had incompetent evidence. Since then, the Appellee is trying to cure the deficiencies and will be submitting validated Resale Deed and an Affidavit for consideration. Both documents have will be authenticated with apostilles issued by the state of Florida (place of origin of the documents). The evidence will be reintroduced to demonstrate that there is no live cause or controversy between the parties due to the occurrence of the sale of the property. Appellee wants to ask the Court to dismiss the request for rehearing and to dismiss the appeal as moot 9although the appeal judgment was in my favor), return the cause to the status before the appeal was perfected, and to not disturb the trial court's judgment. Is this request to the court appropriate at this stage in the case. … read more
