Since the trust is a separate and distinct entity from you personally, you would need to assign your interest in the settlement to the trust. It need not be anything more complicated than a signed statement stating "i hereby assign all proceeds of the settlement of __________________ to the XXXXX XXXXX Revocable Trust, under trust agreement dated_____________."
