I am on medicare from a previous accident, and I will be married

Customer Question

I am on medicare from a previous accident, and I will be married in 3 months. I have Mass health as my secondary and medicare as my primary. I have heard when you try to add a spouse onto your mass health they drop you. I will have to add her to the health plan that my local bank offers. If I add her to the banks health plan do I still get to keep medicare?

Yes, your entitlement to medicare would not be terminated by adding her to your current health care.
