I have a photo enforcement ticket from the city of Tacoma. From some things I have read online, it sounds like it may be what's called a "snitch" ticket and it is not a real speeding ticket. Legally, do I have to pay this ticket? Will they truthfully not allow me to renew my tabs?
Legally you do have to pay the ticket and they will not let you renew. There is a case in Federal court to have these tickets declared unconstitutional. If they win, you will eventually be contacted and get your money back.
