Hi. I have 11 years old daughter. Her father passed away,

Resolved Question:

I have 11 years old daughter.
Her father passed away, 5years ago.
He left some money for his family, include me, daughter, and his 3 sisters who live in CA.
3 sisters helped their 80 year old mother to move better place using with his money.
It was great idea. I am so happy if they did.
But since my husband death, they disconnected with us.
Even I sent my daughters photo, letters, DVD.
Nothing to be responded. zero.none.
It is NOT O.K. for my daughter. I am really upset with them.
My question is:
If their mother passed away, my daughter stll has a right to take her inheritage?
I just feel that this cold- blood family should have not treated my dear daughter like that.
In any chanse, they will take away from her name ?

Dear bluesky bunny - If the mother names your daughter in her will then she will inherit however if the mother does not name your daughter in her will then she will have no right to inherit. If she was left something from her father she has a right to receive that money regardless.
