I am a homeowner in California. My ex girlfriend has moved

Resolved Question:

I am a homeowner in California. My ex girlfriend has moved out (after being given 30 days notice) and she left behind some property. I've tried getting her to come get it, but she won't. How long must I wait before I can dispose of it?

Please got to the link below for detailed answers to your question:

If she was not your tenant, then bailment laws apply in which case you must provide her with written notice just like she was a tenant and wait a reasonable amount of time for her to come collect her things, very similar to what you have to do as a if she was a tenant.
