Is the legal disclaimer on the back of a valet ticket legal

This answer was rated:

Is the "legal disclaimer" on the back of a valet ticket legal? Can they enforce the statement that all claims MUST be made prior to leaving the location that the service was provided? This occurred in MN.
It wont be a bar to a claim if reckless and negligent conduct or that which cannot be reasonably uncovered at the time of taking the car.

I'm sorry can you put that into layman's terms?
The disclaimer can limit contract claims.   Breach of contract. But if you could not find out the problem when you got the car or if the valet was reckless in its behavior, you can pursue your claim.

So if there was a scratch on the front driver's side door in plain site that went unnoticed until after the car was home then the disclaimer can be enforced? The valet did not do anything to prevent the viewing of the damage it just went unnoticed.
The valet would have a strong defense in this situation.
