Customer Question

I took my van to Jay Malone in august I paid 1200. My husband was in control of our finances. He was keeping track of my checkbook. The check came back NSF. Now he's taking me to court. If I plead not guilty and I tell him that he was in control of our finaces. Will they charge him instead. He told the mechanics to fix it.

No, if your name is XXXXX XXXXX checking account, then legally you are ultimately responsible for it. I would still them that you weren't in charge of it and try to negotiate with them. They just want their money, so if you can rovide it now, then they will be happy. Good luck!
