garnishing wages for an old car loan

Customer Question

I got a car loan in 2000 and it's been Repossession as of Jul 2002 to Sep 2002 when I check my credt report it says the status is Account charged off/Repossession. $7,547 written off. and that has happened since Charge Off as of Aug 2006 to Jan 2009, Jul 2004 to Mar 2006, Jan 2004, Dec 2003, Aug 2003, Jul 2003, May 2003, Jan 2003 to Apr 2003, Nov 2002, Oct 2002 Now I got a letter saying they took out a judgment on me. So my question is can they still garnish my wages after all this?

If after repossession they are still owed money they can sue, obtain a judgment and garnish unless you had a written settlement otherwise.
