Resolved Question:

Can a Credit Union take money out of my account to pay their bill without my permission?

You need to call your credit union tomorrow and ask for them to fax or email you a copy of their original agreement with you. It may be included in it. If it is not, then you need to talk with the manager and ask for an immediate re-transfer of funds to your account, but I would check this out first. I have seen banks and credit unions do this in the fine print of their contracts--that is their way out.
Hope this helps,
