I am looking for a definition of "Scrivener''s error" ... I have a situation where a requirement for an orgaizations officership was left out in a revision to the document, unintentionally. Currently there is a group seeking to use that as a basis for ignoring the requirement.
It is nothing more then a clerical error or omission or a needed item. Something not filled in correct or fully..........reply if needed.

Reply to 4ren6's Post: Can one infer from your answer that the omission cannot be used as a basis, in and of itself, to exclude the requirement that was excluded?
No, as this is the grounds for calling this an invalid document..........

Therefore the document with the scrivener's error is NOT a valid document, yes?
that is indeed correct.
