Hello, this is Dr. Linda. I hope I can help with your concerns today. I am sorry your concerns were not addressed right away but there are not many large animal vets on this site.

Your animal has been in labor since yesterday, but the active contractions never were observed or she just never pushed much.

Either way, the placental tissues are trying to come out, but the lamb is either too big or is mal-positioned & unable to pass out the birth canal.

Are you able to check her yourself? Otherwise, I would recommend having a veterinarian check her out. This would be the best for hopefully still delivering a live lamb.

Please let me know how else I can help today.

Thank you.
