Customer Question

My Dorper sheep are not reproducing like they should be.
I do have free range chickens also. Could that play a factor in their reproduction?

Good Morning Amy and welcome! I am Dr. Loretta, a licensed veterinarian and I am happy to answer your question.

I am so sorry Amy, that it has taken so long to answer your question.

The presence of free range chickens will have no effect on fertility of your sheep, Amy. The problem is most likely due to other variables such as age of the rams, age of the ewes, ambient temperature , fertility of the rams and many other variables. This LINK will explain in more detail, Amy. Check all of these factors to increase the fertility rate.

Does that make sense to you?

Please let me know if you have ANY other questions. My goal is to give you 100% satisfaction and if you are not yet satisfied, please REPLY so I can clarify for you.

Sincerely, ***** *****
