What should you do if an older sheep won't eat for about a week? The sheep lives alone and is getting older, but has not had an appetite for a week.

Lack of appetite can be caused by many things. Your ewe may have intestinal parasites, a problem in her mouth, sore feet, or an infectious disease.

It would be best to have her thoroughly examined by a veterinarian to determine why she won't eat. The examination should include a fecal flotation exam to see if she has intestinal parasites (worms).
