Yes, the Toshiba internal HDs are just plug & play, so when you go to install Windows, the Windows installation will format it as needed without any extra work on your part.

I just bought a WD, inserted it the swap slot in front of my PC, booted from CD/DVD Windows 7 install disk, and I get error message. So, I thought maybe WD is not Windows ready, thinking I would return the WD for a plug & play competitor.
