with the computer ON, remove the battery then remove the power cable to make a force shutdown the system.

Turn on the computer and next time you will see "launch startup repair" option.

Select that option.

the message must appear before windows try holding the power button until the system shutdown.

Restart the computer and as soon as you see the HP logo press "F11" repeatedly

Josh thank you but at 60 yrs old and no $ and fighting breast cancer I am going to say just refund my $5.00 and I am going to trash my computer. Sadly, but I don’t have any other options....
