JA: Have you installed any updates recently? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: SATELLITE L70-A. NOT SURE ON UP DATES

Can you disconnect the power cable then hold the power button for 60 seconds then release.

Connect the power cable, power it on and tell me if the keyboard then works please.

ok, I want to do a system restore please.

To do this, close all programs.

Press the windows key + X and click on Control Panel

click System and Security

Then click on System

Then System Protection

Then System restore

Choose a date before this problem occurred.

Let it complete and tell me if it now functions correctly please

Ok, we will need to do a reinstall of windows

This will not touch your data but your programs you will need to install again. This you cannot avoid.

To do this go to settings, update & security, recovery.

Then under Reset My PC, click Get Started

Choose to keep your files, let the reset complete and when it has, tell me if the keyboard is then working please
